Isaiah 60:22 "The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation, I am the Lord; in it's time I will do this swiftly." (NIV)
The last two years to Bulembu has been life-changing, yet there is a request for more; something more intense, more daring, harsher conditions, more intimate and more exposed... That is why we introduce to you Swazi 1000 Level 2...You will be staying in the community, with the community. Max 10 people per group, only two groups...
Two communities have been identified;
Ncenceni - a community of 30 people living on the outskirts of Bulembu. You will stay in a mud house, spend time with the locals and assist wherever there is need. Already identified possibilities include the building of a "beeskraal", installing of a solar water pump, etc.
Malanda - a community of 250-300 people. Those being on a Swazi 1000 will remember walking through this village on our way to the summit of the mountain. You will be living in a local house and participate in the daily lifestyles of the community. Community involvement includes hard physical labour; e.g the building of a church structure.
